How to find your target audience

Seth Godin has used the term ‘tribes’ to describe a community of like-minded people who share similar values and passions.  He believes that more than ever, now is the time to start a movement.

With the rise of social media, we get the opportunity to engage with those brands, both personal and company, who we share similar values and perspectives.

So given now is the best opportunity to lead, how you go about starting a tribe and finding your target audience?

People will rally around ideas, causes and missions that they feel passionate about and this all rests with the vision of you as the tribe leader.

As the tribe leader you need to dig deeper on your why? Why are you doing what you do and what do you stand for?

Only when you are very clear on the deeper reasons for your purpose and existence will you attract others along for the ride. These people become your target market and have an attraction to your brand and what you stand for.

If you are currently trying to market and cater to everyone, you may not be creating your tribe. We use strategy workshops to find out your deeper purpose and connect that to what your marketplace wants.
